James H. Jackson, 68, of Zanesfield, was transported by Perry Township squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for non-incapacitating injuries sustained in a one-vehicle crash about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Amanda Frost Salyer, Amanda Mees, Brandon Frost, Jane King Reese and Christi Reese Evans have organized a candlelight prayer vigil for victims of the Sandy Hook School shooting at 6 p.m. Saturday in Brown Park, Bellefontaine, with prayers for the 20 children and six adults killed Friday in Sandy Hook, Conn.

Jeffrey J. Rollins, 22, of 424 W. Brown Ave., Bellefontaine, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and driving under suspension following an incident early Sunday morning.
Driver faces charges

A driver was arrested Sunday and was lodged in the Logan County Jail after an officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department observed him drive off Lake Avenue and over a road sign around 2:50 a.m.
