Traffic stop nets drug charges



Katrina Robinson, 25, of 868 E. Sandusky Ave., Apt. 116, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop Tuesday evening.

Hardin County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Garrett C. Craig, 23, and Amber R. Hoy, 24, both of 625 High Ave., Russells Point, on outstanding Logan County drug trafficking warrants during a traffic stop at 2 p.m. Tuesday on State Route 31 north of Mt. Victory.

Authorities look at family’s 3rd death in 13 months

Local authorities have called in state investigators to help look at the overnight death of three-month-old Noah Pilkington, the third son of Joseph and Brittany Pilkington to die in the past 13 months.

“We’ve asked BCI (Bureau of Criminal Investigation) to send us an investigator to give us another set of eyes ... a fresh look,” Bellefontaine Police Chief Brandon Standley said.

He said the agent is part of BCI’s Crimes Against Children Unit.

A BCI crime scene investigator also was at the Pilkington’s 868 E. Sandusky Ave., Apt. 215, residence.

Police dispatchers received a 911 phone call at 3:04 a.m. from the 23-year-old Mrs. Pilkington regarding an unresponsive child.
