Traffic stop nets felony weapons charges

Driver Ryan Shoffner, 33, of Lakeview, and his passenger, Justin Haynes, 26, of Lakeview, each was issued felony weapons charges during a traffic stop Wednesday evening. Officers of the Washington Township Police Department on patrol in the area of State Route 235 and State Route 708 about 5:50 p.m. observed their vehicle make several lane violations.

Semi driver charged with OVI, issued weapons charge

A semi tractor-trailer driver from Michigan was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, possession of drugs and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 33 near County Road 94.
