Indian Lake’s girls basketball team saw its offense stall against host Kenton Ridge on Wednesday in a 36-25 Central Buckeye Conference loss.
The Lakers drop their record to 6-8 on the season as the Cougars move to 6-8.
Kenton Ridge held a 12-11 lead over Indian Lake after the first quarter. The Cougars outscored the Lakers 11-6 in the second quarter to carry a 23-17 advantage into halftime.
Scoring came to a halt in the third quarter as Kenton Ridge scored just one basket to improve their lead to 27-17. The Cougars finished off the win in the fourth quarter with an 11-8 effort.
Offensively for the Lakers, Kristen Young and Kyleigh Huffer each scored nine points.
In junior varsity action, Kenton Ridge won 47-24. Cheyenne Hill led the Lakers with nine points.
Indian Lake hosts Northwestern on Saturday for a CBC Mad River contest.
