The United Way of Logan County kicked off its second annual online auction Cyber Monday, Nov. 30, and RV Wholesalers in Lakeview has donated a 2020 Forest River Wildwood Camper, valued at $26,000, to serve as a lead gift for the fundraiser.
The online auction continues through Dec. 14 for the Christmas shopping season from the organization’s website at www.uwlogan.org.
Browsers can bid on in-kind product and service donations from area businesses to benefit the 2020 United Way campaign
Relating to the camper donation, RV Wholesalers representatives Eric Leroy, Dalton Owen, Noah Hurley, Jen Castello, Aubree Durnell and Bailee Durnell recently made the presentation of the camper to United Way 2020 campaign co-chairs Darrin Haubert and Katie Rychener.
Other items available for sale through the online auction include a variety of gift cards from local businesses, gift baskets, furniture, pool passes for 2021, photography sessions, hand bags, and rides to school in a fire truck donated by area fire departments.
The sale of all auction items goes toward the campaign, which supports 45 programs of 31 funded agencies in Logan County in the areas of health, education, and financial stability.
Last year, 993 bids were made on 78 donated items, generating a whopping $35,000 to help us in our fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in Logan County.
