Logan County Health District officials reported Thursday that the county’s COVID-19 call center has been extremely busy with the significant increase in cases and limited staff, and individuals should expect a delay when calling the center.
The call center can be reached at (937) 592-9040 option 1. Individuals should expect to receive a return call within 24 to 48 hours.
Representatives said leaving multiple messages will slow the contract tracing staff and further delay a response.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding during this extremely busy time,” officials said.
As of Friday, the health district reported 100 active cases of the virus and nine current hospitalizations.
Since the first positive cases in March, a total of 445 cases have been reported in Logan County, including 341 recovered cases and four deaths.
