Dustin S. Platfoot, 38, of Anna, was charged Saturday with assault, criminal damaging and theft.
Around 11:30 a.m., officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department received a report of man removing a woman from a sport utility vehicle at Main Street and Northview Drive and throwing her to the ground before driving off.
