Logan County Youth Leadership students from Indian Lake recently hosted a three-on-three basketball tournament at the Indian Lake High School main gymnasium, which raised nearly $300 for the Logan County Vets to D.C. program.
Melissa J. Keeton, 44, of 233 Clermont, Russells Point, was charged with burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, obstructing official business and resisting arrest related to an incident Thursday at Kamp-A-Lot, 1888 S. County Road 25, Bellefontaine.
Harlene Sammons, 37, of Columbus, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs during a traffic stop about 1:20 a.m. Sunday when officers of the Washington Township Police Department observed her vehicle traveling 56 mph in a 45 mph zone in the area of State Route 366 and Foster Street in Russells Point. Sammons reportedly showed signs of intoxication and she failed field sobriety tests.
