Crystal Wilson, 25, of 5814 County Road 26, Bellefontaine, was charged Friday with domestic violence and aggravated menacing.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was served Friday evening with papers related to a telephone harassment charge from November. She was accused of harassing her brother, Justin L. Wilson of Belle Center, about a disputed cable bill.
Shortly after she was served the papers Friday, Ms. Wilson reportedly went to her grandmother’s residence in Rushsylvania and began making threats to harm her brother. Her vehicle reportedly left marks in her grandmother’s driveway and grass that evening.
Ms. Wilson was located by deputies and was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Man issued warrants after overdose incident
Shawn E. Griffith, 44, of 6377 N. County Road 35, Lewistown, was served Sunday with two bench warrants for failure to appear for traffic citations following his treatment for a drug overdose incident.
Deputies and Indian Lake EMS responded about 2:25 p.m. to his address on a report of an unresponsive man. Paramedics reportedly revived Mr. Griffith with Narcan, and he was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital.
Deputies located a clear capsule in the defendant’s bedroom, and he admitted to snorting heroin that day.
After he was released from the hospital, Mr. Griffith was transported to the jail on the Bellefontaine Police Department and Union County warrants. Further investigation is pending related to drug charges.
Driver cited in U.S. 68 crash
Peter Hager, 36, of West Liberty, was cited for failure to control following a non-injury crash about 6:50 a.m. Friday on U.S. Route 68.
Deputies report he was operating a northbound car and attempted to turn into a driveway at 5591 U.S. 68 when he drove through a ditch and struck a utility pole. Damage was light to his car.
• John T. Wilson, 17, of Wapakoneta, did not report any injuries after his eastbound car struck a deer about 7:25 p.m. Sunday on State Route 540 just west of Township Road 135.

Adriel student lodged for assault
Amber Penthany, an 18-year-old resident of Adriel School’s Harmony Hall, 550 N. Detroit St., West Liberty, was charged with assault Sunday after she punched another student in the stomach around 5:50 p.m.
She continued to yell and curse at other students and staff so officers of the West Liberty Police Department took her into custody and lodged her in the Logan County Jail.
