A Michigan woman renting a property at Indian Lake was arrested on criminal damaging and disorderly conduct charges after a fight with her estranged spouse on Friday evening, deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report.
Angela Crock-Ezzo, 40, of Woodhaven, Mich., was taken to the Logan County Jail after deputies were called to her 11097 Newland Road, Sassafras Point, residence at 4:23 p.m.
Daniel Ezzo, 44, of Alum Park, Mich., said he had been at the home trying to work out marital differences when Ms. Crock-Ezzo threw Mr. Ezzo’s laptop computer into the lake and broke the windshield of his car.
Deputies saw the laptop case floating in the lake and a neighbor helped retrieve it, but the computer was likely damaged beyond repair, deputies report.
Authorities investigate man’s death as overdose
Deputies are investigating the death of a 44-year-old West Mansfield man as a suspected overdose.
They responded along with a Bokescreek squad at 7:18 a.m. Friday to 160 S. Main St., West Mansfield, where they found Thomas Smotherman.
The Logan County Coroner’s Office was called to investigate.
