West Liberty-Salem’s boys bowling team edged host Riverside 2,338-2,319 on Friday during a local non-league match at T-P Lanes.
Isaac Riblet led the Tigers with a game of 232, Andrew McCall rolled game of 223, Bobby Rollins had a game of 183, Logan Tompkins recorded a game of 163 and Adam Watkins had a game of 134.
For the Pirates, Zander Crouch rolled game of 241, Xavier Clerico had a game of 199, Bailey Gammell had a game of 193 and Aidan Short had a game of 178.
In junior varsity action, WL-Salem’s Eli Ullery and Ayan Reisinger each rolled games of 183 and Skylor Mueller had a game of 126.
Riverside’s girls defeated WL-Salem 1,888-1,673. Katie Rollins led the Tigers with games of 169 and 143 for a 312 series, Natalie Hacker rolled games of 133 and 128 for a 261 series, Abbey Riblet added a game of 141.
Angela Walter paced the Pirates with a game of 226 and 404 series and Rayce Yelton added a game of 161.
WL-Salem’s girls also won a tri-match on Thursday against Lima Shawnee and Northeastern. The Tigers won with 2,343, the Indians were second with 2,062 and the Jets were third with 1,826.

Bellefontaine’s boys bowling team defeated visiting Jonathan Alder 2,598-2,440 on Friday in a Central Buckeye Conference match at T-P Lanes.
Ian Salyer led the Chieftains with games of 187 and 266 for a 453 series. Beau Salyer added a game of 188, Caleb Gonterman rolled a game of 184 and Landon Gibbs added a game of 173.
In junior varsity action, Bellefontaine beat Jonathan Alder 2,109-1,812. Quinn Allmon led BHS with games of 177 and 176 for a 353 series and Jacob Reed had a game of 171.
Bellefontaine’s girls also beat Jonathan Alder 2,310-2,183. Brynn Noffsinger led the Chiefs with games of 225 and 195 for a 421 series, Ashley Ehmer had games of 162 and 172 for a 334 series, Kayla Watkins rolled games of 171 and 162 for a 333 series and Lindsey Heminger had game of 196, while Na Lin added a game of 168.

Brady Stover sparked the Raiders with games of 244 and 183 for a 427 series, Zach Boger had games of 228 and 180 for a 408 series, Bryce Loomis rolled games of 232 and 131 for a 363 series and Timmy Porter posted games of 204 and 180 for a 384 series.
Ben Logan’s girls handled Shawnee 2,487-1,943. Erica Warne sparked the Raiders with games of 279 and 217 for a 496 series, Kaylee Nichols had a game of 214 and Malroi Barnes had a game of 213. Ben Logan hosts Graham on Monday at T-P Lanes.
