William (Bill) Charles Ringler, 74, of Bellefontaine passed away at 2:35 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Belle Springs Nursing home and rehab, Bellefontaine, Ohio.
He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on October, 15, 1947, the son of late Wilis L. (Babe) and Shirley A. Smith (Ringler, Blazer). He was preceded in death by sister Delores L. Moore (Ringler).
On May, 21, 1983, he married Sharon L. Wallace and she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters; Stephanie Butler and Valerie Parish, five children; Michelle Wissink, Mike Ringler, Joy Oliver, Karen Overbey, and Sherry Street, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Bill worked at Radio Shack for 40 plus years, Sears for 5 years, and Donatos Pizza delivering pizza on his retirement. Always serving pizza with a smile. He enjoyed watching any sport on T.V., Playing WOW (World of Warcraft) on the computer. Loved to travel with his wife and kids whenever possible. Family was very important to this loving man. He was just like a social butterfly, because he would talk with friends, family, or a complete stranger for hours. If he was talking with a stranger, they would no longer be strangers once they said there good-byes.
Reverend Kevin Greenwald will officiate a funeral service for Bill, at noon Tuesday, Dec. 7, at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home, 5591 U.S. Route 68, West Liberty, Ohio 43357. Memorial visitation for family and friends will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
