West Liberty I Lions Club won both games of a doubleheader on Friday in eight-and-under softball action.
In the opener, West Liberty I won 15-14 over West Liberty II LeVan’s Excavating. Pacing the offensive effort for the Lions Club were Emily King, Bella Vesey, Sydney Conley, Jaylynn Martin and Alissa Dixon with three hits each.
For LeVan’s Excavating, Ashlyn Yeater, Kenzie Underwood and Addison Falloon had three hits each. Sophia Jackson, Rylee Falloon, Kayla Schwaderer and Kylie Dodshall added two hits each.
In game two, Lions Club defeated West Liberty III Logan Lawn and Landscaping 14-1. King and Vesey led the offensive effort with four hits each while Conley, Martin and Callie Trimble added three hits.
Shaylin Smith led the offensive effort for Logan Lawn and Landscaping with two hits, while Izzy Jones, Paisley Strapp, and Morgan Maurice added one hit each.
