Sydney Wesson and the Benjamin Logan girls golf team continue to put up record scores this season.
Wesson, the Raiders’ star senior, fired a ninehole round of 31 at Liberty Hills Golf Club on Tuesday against Indian Lake to set a new school record.
The Raiders shot a 154 as a team, which eclipsed the previous nine-hole school record they set earlier this season.
Leeah Valentine and Taylor Lafferty shot impressive rounds of 40 for the Raiders, while Kensley Lacher shot 43.
Also for Ben Logan, Olivia Hahn had 45, Kate Hahn had a 51 and Charlotte Graham carded 54.
Regan Ross led the Lakers with a 38. She was followed by Bree Stid with a 51, Kayla Cummins with a 45, Lauren Barhorst with a 59, Emma Meyer with a 69 and Marissa Shields with a 75.
Lady Pirates zap Covington
Riverside’s girls golf team earned a 214-255 win over Covington at Echo Hills Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Pirates’ Roz Estep and Mia Stallard shared medalist honors with 48s. Malaina Jenkins shot 56 and Maddie Sanford added 62.

Chiefs fall to JA
Bellefontaine’s boys golf team was defeated by host Jonathan Alder 159-181 on Tuesday at The Ridge Golf and Gardens.
Liam Harris led the Chiefs with a 41, Austin Hammond carded a 43, Kody Watts shot 45, Joseph Boop had 52, Rory Pierce shot 61 and Landon Kerrigan added a 65.
