William Collin Wagoner, age unavailable, was arrested Wednesday evening for domestic violence.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department and deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched about 7:25 p.m. to 6109 Township Road 94, in reference to a domestic violence complaint.
Officers were advised that the suspect left in a black Dodge.
When officers arrived, they spoke with William Wagoner, who stated his son William Collin, came home and was upset he had left his cell phone in a work van at work.
William Collin then asked his brother if he could borrow his phone and the brother stated he could not borrow his phone. The defendant reportedly became increasingly upset, yelling and screaming and wanted to fight his dad and brother.
His brother reportedly was hit in the face, leaving visible signs of injury and his father was thrown to the ground. Witness statements were taken at the scene.
Officers left the residence to look for the suspect. At 8:06 p.m., deputies located the vehicle headed westbound on 274 and initiated a traffic stop at State Route 274 and Township Road 94.
William Collin was taken into custody. He was transported to the Logan County Jail.
