Vivian Mary Millisor, 89, of Belle Center, passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, in Logan Acres Care Center, Bellefontaine.
She was born in Logan County, on July 24, 1931, the daughter of the late Charles E. Sr. and Eva Lou (Engle) Newman.
On Sept. 18, 1949, in Tremont City, she married Ralph James Millisor and he preceded her in death on January 27, 1978. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Millisor, two sisters, Garnet Roebuck and Velma Ruth Plikerd, four brothers, Charles Jr., Robert, Thomas, and John Newman.
She is survived by her three children; Vicky Lee Millisor of Salisbury, N.C., Gina (Steven) Miller of Belle Center, and James Wesley (Cheri) Millisor of Muskegon, Mich,., five grandchildren; Dodi (Brian) Beaver, Rod Saylor, Kyra (Andrew) Fry, Daniel (fiancé, Grace Stone) Millisor, and Jennifer Millisor, four great grandchildren; Katie Beaver, Levi Beaver, Alexa Fry, and Emmett Fry, three sisters-in-law, Barbara Newman, Sherril Newman, and Nancy Millisor, a brother-in-law, Ron Roebuck and many nieces and nephews.
Vivian was a 1949 graduate of Belle Center High School and retired from Thermoid in 1995, after 14 years of service. She was a long-time member of the Belle Center United Methodist Church, Bellefontaine Chapter of the O.E.S. #459, Belle Center American Legion Auxiliary #266. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and reading, but most of all, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Pastor Kevin Smith will officiate a funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth St., Belle Center, where visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and again on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
