The officer tried to circle back and the SUV was spotted eastbound on Sandusky Avenue and then south on Detroit Street. It was noted in reports the SUV was accelerating rapidly southbound and then westbound on Chillicothe Avenue. The officer continued to patrol until finding the SUV parked.
Hagans and Tucker were not inside but soon walked up to the vehicle. Hagans denied speeding.
Another officer arrived on scene along with an Adult Parole Authority officer to assist with the arrest and subsequent search of the SUV.
