Treva E. Fanaff, 86, of Bellefontaine and formerly of Lima, passed away at 1:10 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020, in The Campbell Place, Bellefontaine.
She was born on May 26, 1933, in West Liberty, the daughter of the late Roy O. and Auda (Lyons) McDonald.
She married James Alfred “Jim” Fanaff and he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1993.
She is also preceded in death by four brothers: Loris, Eugene, Wayne and Winfred McDonald, and three sisters: Estle, Kuma, Marlyn, and twin siblings were still born.
She is survived by two sons: Michael (Patricia) Fanaff of Bellefontaine, and Jeffrey Fanaff of Sidney, three grandchildren; Craig Fanaff and Kara Fanaff, both of Bellefontaine, and Briana Fanaff of Auburn University, two great grandchildren: Reese Fanaff and Xavier Jones, two sisters-in-law: Shirley McDonald of Mechanicsburg and Debbie McDonald of Fostoria, and a brother-in-law, Michael (Judy) Fanaff of Columbus Grove, two special friends: Valerie LaBatt and Marie Rebbins and many nieces and nephews.
Treva attended Monroe Township School and worked 10 years in the D.W.G. Cigar Factory in Lima before going to work for the Logan County Libraries, where she spent 25 years before retiring.
Pastor Ron Irick will officiate a funeral service at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
