Indian Lake’s girls basketball team saw host Jackson Center slip away with a 44-39 win Monday in non-league action.
The loss drops the Lakers to 6-7 on the season, while the Tigers move to 4-9.
Jackson Center held a 16-12 lead to end the first quarter. Indian Lake matched Jackson Center 6-6 in the second quarter to trail 21-18 at halftime.
The Lakers closed the gap in the third quarter with a 13-11 run. That pulled Indian Lake to within a point at 32-31.
The Tigers were able to hold on for the win with a 12-8 run in the fourth quarter.
For the Lakers, Kristen Young had a game-high 18 points and Hailey Talbot added 10 points.
There was no junior varsity game.
Indian Lake travels to Kenton Ridge on Wednesday for a Central Buckeye Conference game.
