West Liberty-Salem’s softball team had its bats working at a high level Wednesday as it overwhelmed host Springfield Catholic Central 19-1 in five innings for an Ohio Heritage Conference victory.
The Tigers move their record to 6-1 overall and 2-1 in the OHC.
WL-Salem’s offense got going in a hurry to start the game. The Tigers scored seven runs in the first inning, five runs in the second inning and seven more runs in the third inning.
