Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded about 2 p.m. Monday to the Village Pantry, 319 Cretcher St., DeGraff, where they spoke with a manager regarding a theft of lottery tickets.

The manager said lottery tickets were missing from the office area of the gas station. Investigation continues.
Deer crash logged
Chad I. Shafer, 35, of Bellefontaine, did not report any injuries after his westbound car struck a deer on State Route 47 just east of County Road 31 about 7:30 a.m. Monday. Damage to the car was moderate.
