Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a vehicle on north Madriver Street about 7 p.m. when she was observed driving through a red light at Columbus Avenue.
A traffic stop was initiated, and deputies asked Ms. Hoberty why she ran the red light. She responded that she had been texting a friend on her cell phone.

Field sobriety tests were administered, and she was transported to the Logan County Jail, where she refused to take a blood alcohol content test. She also was cited for texting while driving, failure to obey a traffic control device and driving under non-compliance suspension.
Boyfriend charged with domestic violence
