A multi-agency effort has yielded felony drug charges against a man suspected of trafficking methamphetamines.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department, along with the Adult Parole Authority conducted a home visitation around 8:15 a.m. Thursday of a community control defendant, Donald Huffman, 51, of 9397 Mingo Way, Russells Point.
Inside the home, officers located suspected methamphetamine, psychedelic mushrooms, loaded uncapped needles, cash and other drug paraphernalia. The suspect was lodged in Logan County Jail on charges including two counts of possession of a controlled substance, drug abuse instruments and child endangering, as a juvenile was also present in the residence at the time of the arrest.
The arrest is the result of an extended investigation by Washington Township Police into suspected drug trafficking by Huffman, and was executed with the cooperation of multiple agencies working together to share information, officers report.
