Former Benjamin Logan softball standout Courtney Stewart had a stellar outing in the pitching circle for Urbana University on Thursday.
Stewart allowed just two hits and one earned run in leading the Blue Knights to a 9-2 victory over Saint Joseph (Ind.) at Clermont, Fla.
A junior, Stewart retired nine of the final 10 batters she faced.
At the plate, Stewart recorded two hits and scored a pair of runs.
Bellefontaine High School product Jenna VanHoose chipped in with a hit for UU.
Urbana closes out its Florida trip today with games against Assumption College and Saginaw Valley State.
