Bellefontaine’s boys bowling team came away with a firstplace finish Saturday in the Jonathan Alder Pioneer Baker Bash.
The tournament consisted of 10 baker games and the field was then cut to four teams. The team winning the best two out of three in baker moved on.
Bellefontaine was the top qualifying team with 2,022 for 10 games and faced North Union in the semifinal. The Chieftains beat the Wildcats 180-157 and 215-163.
