Bellefontaine’s girls golf team dominated the Central Buckeye Conference this fall, putting a finishing touch on its impressive run with a first-place finish in the conference tournament Wednesday at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.

The Lady Chiefs shot a 367 to win the Kenton Trail division by 20 strokes over Springfield Shawnee.
Bellefontaine also won the CBC preseason tournament, finished 6-0 in league matches and took the overall season championship.
“The girls have done a good job of staying focused and doing things the right way, not just going through the motions,” said Bellefontaine head coach Darin Vermillion. “They get better every time they step on the course, range and putting green.”
