The Chiefs are now 5-8 overall and 3-5 in the CBC. The Cougars are now 9-2 overall.

Highlighting the match for Bellefontaine was Courtney Sims at first singles. She recorded a 6-4, 6-4 win over the Cougars’ Elli Schlinitz.

“This was the second match in a row where Courtney beat a girl she lost to earlier in the season,” said Bellefontaine head coach Jim Stein. “That was a gritty effort. She was a little worn down from playing a long match the night before.”
