“That was not the start we were looking for,” said BL head coach Jamie Hughes. “We thought this would be an evenly contested game and we knew that Springfield would be a tough opponent.”

The Raiders defeated Madison Plains 12-0 on Friday to reach the finals, while Springfield beat Piqua 4-0. In Saturday’s consolation game, Piqua defeated Madison Plains 10-0.
