The LeVan harness racing family added another Logan County Fair victory to its list Tuesday on the first of two nights of action.

Rockin Megan L, a horse trained by Lewistown’s Herb LeVan, owned by LeVan Stables of Woodstock and trained by Hank LeVan, won the ninth race. The winning time for the 3-year-old filly pace was 2:02 3/5. It was the third win of the year for the local horse.
The LeVans also have ties to the winner of Tuesday’s third race, Bad Ms Johnson. The horse, owned by Rico Johnson of Braxton, Miss., was driven by Hank LeVan and is trained by Herb LeVan. The winning time for the 2-year-old filly pace was 2:02 4/5.
The top driver on opening night was Cameron McCown. After winning seven times at last year’s Logan County Fair, McCown picked up where he left off with three more wins Tuesday.
He was victorious with TK’s Lexi Lee in the sixth race, with Perfect Artist in the seventh race and with Riverdancing Diva in the 12th and final race.
Along with Hank LeVan, Ken Holliday drove to a pair of wins. Holliday won with Rose Run Ultimate in the first race and with So Romantic in the 10th race.
This year’s harness program concludes tonight with 12 races. Post time is 6 p.m.
