Wildcats fight off Ben Logan 18-13 in wild CBC battle

The second game played between Benjamin Logan and North Union this week was much different than the first one.

The Raiders clipped North Union 2-1 on Monday in a battle that featured stellar pitching and good defense.

In stark contrast Wednesday, the two teams combined for 32 hits and the visiting Wildcats held on for an 18-13 victory in the finale of their two-game Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division series.

The Raiders fall to 11-3 overall and they drop to third place in the CBC Mad River standings with a 5-3 mark. The Wildcats are now 11-2 overall and remain in first place in the Mad River division with an 8-1 record.
