Indian Lake’s girls basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter to force overtime and then prevailed in the extra session against visiting Jackson Center on Monday in non-league action.

The Lakers battled back in the final period to tie the game 29-29. They held off the Tigers in the overtime period 5-2 to come away with a 34-31 overtime victory.
The win boosts the Lakers to 7-2 overall, while the Tigers drop their fourth straight to fall to 1-6.
“Our defense put the clamps down in the second half and overtime,” said IL head coach Nathaniel Tennant. “That was huge because we were not hitting from the outside tonight.”
