Kenton’s second-half surge ousts Bellefontaine

Kenton used two sec- ond-half goals to defeat host Bellefontaine 2-0 on Thursday in a non-league boys soccer game inside AcuSport Stadium.

“We knew that this team was going to be really solid,” said BHS head coach Steve Henry. “We played a great first half, but they just got a good shot off at the top of the box.

“We get a day off and then another tough team comes to town. We’re hoping that this tough schedule will pay off in the tournament. It’s by far the toughest schedule that we have had since I have been coaching here.”
