It was a very strong first week for the Bellefontaine boys golf team.

The Chiefs finished secondin their division of the Central Buckeye Conference preseason tournament Wednesday, won their own Ryan Reynolds Invitational on Thursday and then Friday took first place in the Mechanicsburg Invitational at Indian Springs Golf Club in Mechanicsburg.
Bellefontaine shot a 346 for its first-place finish.
“It was a new course for most guys and they did a good job of doing their research beforehand to know where our targets would be and where we wanted to place the ball,” said BHS head coach Jason Steider.
