A 40-year Logan County Fair Board member was one of 54 individuals or organizations honored at the 91st Ohio Fair Managers Association annual convention for outstanding service to their local fairs.
Errol Snapp of Lewistown was presented a certificate by Ohio Department of Agriculture Director David T. Daniels during the event at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
The recently retired local fair board member also was recognized with a plaque and presentation during the opening ceremony for the 2015 Logan County Fair.
At the Logan County Fair Board’s December meeting, Mr. Snapp was named an honorary member in recognition of his service.
Other area individuals who were recognized at the state convention also included Hardin County residents Bill and Connie Oates, Shelby County resident Tim Everett and Elizabeth Miller of Auglaize County.
