The Bellefontaine High School stage is transformed this weekend into a lively Philadelphia convent where “Sister Mary Clarence” is able to hide out from her gangster boyfriend and also share her musical talents with her fellow nuns during the school’s production of Sister Act The Musical.
Director Stacy Calton said a double cast is being featured in the performance, The Spread the Love Cast and the Raise Your Voice Cast, this year to provide additional in-person performances so that the school can accommodate COVID-19 protocol and space out seating in the BHS auditorium.
The Spread the Love Cast performs opening night at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, and they also perform on closing night, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27.
The Raise Your Voice Cast performs at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, and a matinee show at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27.
Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased by calling (937) 592-2620 or e-mail at [email protected].
Calton said tickets for online viewing only also are available for purchase at https://www.showtix4u.com/events/19543.
