HARDIN COUNTY — A Bellefontaine man was transported by medical helicopter from the scene of a two vehicle crash that occurred Thursday near the intersection of county roads 180 and 115 in rural Kenton.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office reports Bradley Harshfield, 28, of Bellefontaine, was westbound about 3:30 p.m. on County Road 180 when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a northbound Simon Kenton board of DD school bus on C.R. 115 operated by Anna LaWarre, 49, of Kenton.
Harshfield sustained serious injuries and was taken by Medflight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, and reportedly was in stable condition Friday.
LaWarre and Melissa Moore, 52, of Kenton, each were transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital. There were no other passengers on the school bus.
Kenton Fire and EMS, BKP EMS and Richland Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
