ADA — A second person has died following a head-on crash Friday in Allen County, southwest of Ada.
The two-vehicle collision, reported at 2:13 p.m. Friday near the intersection of State Route 309 and Pevee Road, killed the driver of one vehicle, Sylas Daniels, 18, of Kenton, the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.
A passenger in Daniels’ car, Chris Wireman, 36, of Alger, died of his injuries Saturday, the patrol said.
Troopers said the driver of the second vehicle, Crystal Webb, 35, of Harrod, was taken by Perry Township Emergency Medical Service to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
Reports indicate Mr. Daniels was driving a car east on S.R. 309, and Ms. Webb was westbound in a sport utility vehicle. The car had been passing traffic and was left of center when it struck the SUV.
