Two Russells Point area residents were arrested Wednesday afternoon on multiple drug-related charges following an investigation by detectives with the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force.
Cheyenne Crabtree, 20, and Scott Davenport, 49, both of 8312 State Route 366, Lot 20, Russells Point, each was served with a warrant for trafficking in drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
They also were charged with possession of heroin and possession of cocaine, both third-degree felonies.
About 12:30 p.m., task force members served the warrant at their residence. Detectives also recovered 2 grams of heroin, 1 gram of cocaine and $445 during the arrests.
A 2-year-old child was with the defendants when the cash and drugs were recovered. The child was turned over to other family members.
Mr. Davenport and Ms. Crabtree were transported to the Logan County Jail.
Detectives were assisted by officers of the Washington Township Police Department.
