SIDNEY — A Rushsylvania resident was recently indicted by a Shelby County grand jury on a charge of felonious assault.
Brandon A.M. Risner, 29, was charged with the second- degree felony relating to an incident in the fall, where he allegedly harmed a Shelby County area man, the Sidney Daily News reports.
He is currently lodged in the Shelby County Jail. Thursday, Risner was arrested in Bellefontaine after Bellefontaine Police Department’s canine team responded about 3:05 p.m. to the Homecoming Restaurant, 1370 N. Main St., to assist Logan County Adult Parole Authority officer, who were attempting to locate the defendant related to the out-of-county incident.
Risner had been staying in a mobile home at the location and was observed exiting a building. He observed the canine team, stopped and announced he would not run.
He was taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Jail, and was later transferred to Shelby County authorities.
