Ruby Eleanor Montgomery, 91, passed away May 3th, 2020, with family at her side. She was born on Sept. 23, 1928, to the late John and Jennie (Baker) McColloch.
Ruby grew up in East Liberty and was a member of the graduating class of Perry Local High School 1946, East Liberty Church of Christ, and the Rebecca Lodge.
She worked at Harding Machine Screw Company where she met the love of her life, married, raised her family, and later worked and retired from Ranco Inc., Plain City. She loved her community, playing cards, reading, cooking and baking. She was a loving wife, parent and grandparent and enjoyed spending time with her family and attending their activities. She was very loved and will be missed.
Her parents; husband, Charles Watson Montgomery; son, Keith W. Montgomery; brothers, John Lewis McColloch and Robert McColloch; sisters, Betty Johnson, Gladys Russell; and sister-in-law, Beulah McColloch; brothers-in-law, Harold Johnson, Richard Russell, Forrest Watkins; nephews, Richard Johnson, Robert Leo McColloch; and niece, Mona Coles precedes Ruby in death.
She is survived by her daughter; and spouse, Nancy (Dan) Pry; daughter-in-law, Virginia Montgomery; her sister, Blanche Watkins; and grandchildren, Scott (Jenelle) Pry, Mitchell(Krystle) Current, Nicole (Mike) Kolberg; great-grandchildren, Blake Broderick, Chase Pry, Victoria, Toby, and Mitchell Current, Payton, Brooklyn, and Reagan Kolberg; great-great-grandchildren, Aiden Harrison, Bentley Keith Current; and nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to her family and neighbors for their care and support, Dr. Michael Gleason, Perry Township Fire Department, Tammy Fleming, and the Miriam Circle of the East Liberty Methodist Church. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2020, at the East Liberty Perry Township Cemetery, County
Road 10 East Liberty. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel 222 West Center St., West Mansfield, Ohio 43358.
