Ronald B. Roebuck, 87, of Belle Center, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 23, 2023. He was born in Belle Center, Ohio on August 9, 1935, to the late Harry P. and Marie (Miller) Roebuck.
On September 23, 1961, he married the former Garnet A. Newman, and she preceded him in death on February 1, 2019. He is also preceded in death by a son, Johnny R. Roebuck and sisters: Harriet Kies and Lois Roebuck.
He is survived by his children: Cathy (Brooks) Pool and Ronnie Chris (Caroline) Roebuck both of Belle Center; grandchildren: Jenna Miller, Hunter (Elizabeth Boysel) Pool, Mackenzie (Blake) Lantz, Drake Roebuck, and Hayes (Bailey Smith) Roebuck; great-grandchildren: Cannen and Cain Miller; sisters-in-law: Barbara Newman and Sherril Newman; brother-in-law, Hank Kies; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Ollie.
A United States Army Veteran, Ronald enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing. He also loved to mushroom hunt and attend gun shows. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bellefontaine, American Legion Post 266 in Belle Center, and the Indian Lake Moose Lodge. He retired from Rockwell in Kenton after 30+ years.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 27, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth Street, Belle Center, Ohio 43310. Pastors Kevin Smith and Shelley Stephenson will officiate a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, at the funeral home. Following the service, there will be military honors provided by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard, at the funeral home.
