Anna’s girls basketball team wore down host Bellefontaine on Saturday to pull away for a 56-31 non-league win.

The loss drops the Chieftains to 2-10 on the season.
Anna held a 15-12 lead at the end the first quarter and the Rockets led by 10 (27-17) at halftime.
The third quarter saw Anna push its lead to 21 points at 48-27. Anna continued to add to its lead in the fourth quarter.
Meagan Lonsway led the Chiefs with a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds. Jenna Carman contributed seven points and Deja Peterson had six points.
Bellefontaine travels to Tecumseh on Wednesday for a Central Buckeye Conference matchup.
