Quality Paving will make repairs to streets and alleys after the Rushsylvania Village Council voted during a regular meeting Monday to accept the company’s bid for the work.
Sales tax monies set aside by the Logan County Commissioners will be used to pay for the repairs to Bank Street, the village park entrance at Rush Street and the alley from Rush to Miami Road. Other streets will be completed at a later time.
Crews also are replacing mulch in the park with pea gravel and have painted the shelter house and picnic tables.
Litter, junk vehicles and weeds continue to be addressed.
Because of the July 4 holiday, the next council and Board of Public Affairs meetings are Tuesday, July 12 at 6:30 and 7 p.m., respectively.
