Riverside’s Athletic Department recently honored its winter athletes and announced each sports award winners.
In boys basketball, John Zumberger was named most valuable and had the highest free throw percentage. Kale Long earned the hustle award and had the most rebounds, while Brody Rhoads was named most improved.
Lauryn Sanford led the girls basketball team by being named most valuable and having the highest free throw percentage. Olivia Perk earned most improved, Kirstin Schlumbohm received the hustle award and Amber Waters recorded the most rebounds.
Highlighting the boys bowling awards were Zander Crouch, who was named most valuable and carried the highest average. Xavier Clerico was named most improved.
The girls bowling team saw Rayce Yelton earn most valuable and record the highest average. Ashley Russell took home most improved.
In cheerleading, most spirited went to Bridget Littlejohn and most improved went to Taylor Mees.
