Benjamin Logan’s boys basketball team struggled to contain a talented Marion Harding squad Wednesday as the Presidents rolled to a 65-32 non-league win.
The loss drops the Raiders to 6-6 on the season as the Presidents move to 6-4.
Harding raced out of the gate in the opening quarter and grabbed a 16-2 lead. The Presidents outscored the Raiders in the second quarter 19-10 to build a 35-12 halftime advantage.
The third quarter saw Harding use an 11-4 run to extend its lead to 30 points at 46-16. The Presidents polished off the win in the fourth quarter with a 19-16 run.
Mitch Vance, Kaden Arn and Kameran Allen each had eight points to lead the Raiders, while Landen Hunt chipped in four points.
Ben Logan’s junior varsity Gold fell 54-41. Breshon Jacobs led the Raiders with 14 points and Ty Anspach had 12 points.
The Raiders’ junior varsity Black team fell to Harding 81-42.
Ben Logan hosts Urbana on Friday for a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division game.
