Officers of the Bellefontaine Police are investigating a case in which an out-of-state adult male traveled here to make contact with a 13-year-old city girl.
A complaint was received Feb. 24 and officers looked into the complaint. They indicated the suspect made contact with the girl via a computer based application.
The girl was safe at school when the suspect arrived in Bellefontaine, officers report.
No charges have been filed and the investigation continues.
