Riverside’s softball team made an unscathed run through to the Northwest Central Conference this spring. The Pirates reaped the benefits of their NWCC title on the recently released all-league team.
The Pirates’ Lauryn Davis was named the conference’s player of the year, while Andy Phelps was selected as the coach of the year.
Davis had a lot of familiar company on the NWCC first team. She was joined by teammates Kristin Davidson, Abigail Proffitt and Marissa Davis.
Also selected to the first team was Ridgemont’s Sydney Totten.
Earning second-team honors were Ridgemont’s Priscilla Howland and Cassidy Knapp and Riverside’s Aubrie Stillings.
Honorable mention selections included Riverside’s Taylor Stevens and Helena Faulder and Ridgemont’s Sara McFadden and Brooke Stewart.
