Bellefontaine’s boys tennis team lost a hard fought battle to visiting Piqua 3-2 on Wednesday at Bellefontaine High School.

Recording wins for the Chieftains were Tyler Frantz at first singles and Max Wilcoxon at second singles.
Frantz rallied to win in three sets 4-6, 6-0, 6-1, while Wilcoxon also battled back to win 1-6, 6-4, 6-3.
Also for BHS, Min Lin lost at third singles 7-6, 6-4, J.P. Attar and Lindsay Stevenson lost at first doubles 6-2, 6-1, while Hunter Karg and Kasey Middaugh lost at second doubles 6-0, 6-4.
Bellefontaine travels to Urbana today for a Central Buckeye Conference matchup.
