Peggy Lee Patrick, 67, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday afternoon, May 11, 2020, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Peggy was born in Bellefontaine on March 26, 1953, to the late Joe Ed and Mary Etta (Holycross) Patrick. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Larry Bush.
A graduate of Benjamin Logan High School, Peggy worked as a medical transcriptionist at Mary Rutan Hospital for 47 years. She was an active member of Rushsylvania United Methodist Church, and enjoyed helping with the Wednesday after-school program. Peggy loved to watch her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews sporting events. She was always there to help, bringing her smile and her laugh for all to enjoy.
Peggy is survived by siblings: Richard (Ellen) Patrick of Rushsylvania, Jane (Doug) Burton of Rushsylvania, Ann Bush of Bellefontaine, and Lori (Micah) Palmer of Bellefontaine; nine nieces and nephews: Katie (Rick) Parker, Jere Patrick, Alisa (Rod) Wilson, Eric (Christa) Cox, Kristy (Scott) Springhetti, Julie (Joe) Chute, Matt (Julie) Bush, Blake (Hayley) Palmer, and Grant (Caroline) Palmer; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special friend Robin Goff of West Mansfield.
Visitation for Peggy will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine. Due to the current pandemic, the family asks that you be symptom free and practice social distancing.
Pastor Jessica Cavinee will officiate Peggy’s funeral at 11 a.m. Friday, May 15, at the funeral home. Casual attire is requested for both the visitation and the funeral. Burial will be in Rushsylvania Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rushsylvania United Methodist Church, 152 Rush St., Rushsylvania, OH 43347.
