Benjamin Logan’s senior guard Savannah Pavoni reached 1,000 points for her career to highlight her team’s 40-24 victory over host Northwestern on Wednesday.
The Raiders improve to 9-12 overall and wrap up Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division action at 7-3. Northwestern drops to 4-16, 1-9.
Pavoni, a four-year varsity performer for the Raiders, finished with a team-high 12 points.
Ben Logan led throughout Wednesday’s game. The Raiders held an 11-4 lead after one quarter and led 21-10 at halftime.
The Raiders pushed their lead to 18 points (35-17) after three quarters.
Lynzee Cronkleton contributed nine points, Kerry Copenhaver had eight points and Peyton Derr chipped in seven points for the Raiders.
In the junior varsity game, the Raiders rolled to a 34-7 victory. Maddy Plikerd led the Raiders with 11 points and Rhea Harner added 10 points.
Ben Logan will wrap up the regular season Saturday with a home game against Big Walnut.
